This is a Bengali recipe which includes tamarind pulp and green chillies along with lemon to make a refreshing drink. It's soothing and tasty and can be served chilled along with your food or after it.

In a pan bring the water to a boil.
Add the sugar and stir constantly so that it dissolves. Once the sugar is dissolved let it simmer for a minute. Transfer it to a wide bowl and let it cool down completely.
Once the sugar syrup is cooled down, add the tamarind pulp and mix it well with your hand so that it dissolves completely.
Add the lemon juice and rock salt.
Add the green chilli and mash it completely. Mix everything well.
