Til Mattar is a Punjabi recipe which is quick and easy to make. It requires very easily available ingredients and goes well with paratha and chapatti. It’s a semi dry Subzi with dry fenugreek leaves to add to the flavor
Til Mattar Ingredients
In a blender add the onion, sesame seeds, garlic, coriander powder, cumin seeds and red chilli powder . Blend it with a little water to make a smooth paste
In a wok heat 2 tbsp oil.
Add the ground paste and fry till oil separates . This will take 3-4 minutes on a medium heat.
Add the dried fenugreek leaves, tomato, salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Cook for about a minute.
Add the peas and a little water.
Cook for about 5 minutes or till the peas are done.
